They then shuffle you into a small movie theatre. There they play a short film of Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint in front of the doors to the Great Hall. When the film is over, the screen slowly ascends to reveal...the real doors to the Great Hall. It was incredibly dramatic and emotional. I teared up and immediately realized it was going to be a strange emotional experience to have all by myself.
The tour was a wonderful experience. It was amazing to stand exactly where these movies were made, but it is a little strange to see the secrets behind movie magic. It was really neat, though, to see how many magical devices they created mechanically. Surprisingly few things were left to CGI. Even Rita Skeeter's self-writing quill or Mrs. Weasley's independently knitting needles have mechanical solutions!
